In life care planning it is one of the qualifying credentials for CLCP certification and supports the plan's coverage of rehabilitation services, assistive technology, community reintegration, supported living, and the day-program and vocational services that adults with disabilities use across the life span.
New Jersey personal injury and medical malpractice claims are tried in the Superior Court, Law Division, with malpractice claims requiring an affidavit of merit. Workers' compensation claims are decided by judges of compensation in the Division of Workers' Compensation, where a plan's future medical component is regularly contested.
